A Great Inspection There are some exceptional inspectors, and then there's Kip & Keystone. Very knowledgeable and patient, he answered every question no matter how minor the subject, and found every flaw that we knew of, and then some. What really set his inspection apart was the FLIR thermal imaging camera. Kip found missing insulation in walls and leaks in the floor for which there were no signs visible to the naked eye. Most Thorough Home Inspection Ever   We're new to the Atlanta area & chose Kip @ Keystone for our inspector because of his website touting the infra-red camera he uses to check for heat differential. He was prompt, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, & ready to answer questions at any time. The infra-red camera was able to see behind the wall to pick up several areas that were missing insulation as well as moisture that had yet to show on the outside of the sheetrock. The thorough online report was so cool & so well documented I was able to email this report to a contractor to get a bid for repair. Everyone who saw this inspection report was really wowed. Thermal / Infrared Imaging??? Impressive… This new thermal imaging technology is amazing! The inspector is able to detect potential roof & plumbing leaks by looking at walls utilizing this new Thermal imaging device. In addition to water damage, we were able to see where the installation in the ceiling and walls were insufficient and needed repair. In addition to the new technology, the report produced by Keystone Property Inspections was extremely detailed with dozens of photographs. In situations that a repair or attention was needed, the photograph had bold arrows highlighting what need to be fixed as well as a detailed paragraph with good insight on why the item should be fixed. SUPERB     Keystone found multiple items that needed attention (some of them rather minor) at a new house we were buying. The ones that concerned us the most were that a main water line in basement was wrongly positioned, the kitchen cook top had a gas leak, nails in the roof had not been properly sealed, and the lot drainage was inadequate. The computer generated report listed in detail all of the items that were found during the inspection, including digital photos. They were very professional and did a superb job.
